Kora checks whether the selfie matches the identity record associated with your BVN so we can confirm your identity and help prevent impersonation and fraud. Buzzy does not retain the selfie image after the verification check. We retain your KYC status and the identity details needed to maintain your verified account, but the selfie is not stored in your Buzzy account or KYC record. Kora processes the image to provide this check; please review Kora's Privacy Notice for information about its handling and retention of personal data.
